Family-owned, full-service metal fabrication company to locate a new manufacturing facility in Tennessee, invest $500,000 in Crossville
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter and TSM Metal Works (TSM) officials announced today the company will expand by locating new operations in the Upper Cumberland.
TSM will invest $500,000 and create 20 new jobs in Cumberland County through the project.
TSM is owned by a fourth-generation California fabrication company, and the move to Crossville represents the company’s first out-of-state expansion. Upon completion, the TSM facility will be 30,000 square feet and will serve TSM’s metal fabrication customers both locally and nationwide.
Founded in 2023, TSM Metal Works is family-owned, full-service metal fabrication company that provides powder coating to a variety of industries including backyard projects, construction, agriculture and equipment manufacturing.
Since 2020, TNECD has supported nearly 30 economic development projects in the Upper Cumberland region, resulting in approximately 2,800 job commitments and $870 million in capital investment.
“TSM is a family-owned business that we are proud to have in the Volunteer State. I thank this company for its commitment to supporting families across the Upper Cumberland with these 20 new jobs. Tennessee’s strong business climate, central location and highly skilled workforce will offer TSM much continued success.”
“Crossville’s central location allows companies easy access to many of Tennessee’s major cities and will be the ideal location for TSM’s new manufacturing plant. We appreciate this company’s investment in not only our state but also Cumberland County and look forward to seeing the economic growth that follows today’s announcement.”
“TSM is very excited about the new facility and opportunity that Cumberland County and the State of Tennessee offers. TSM is confident that the company will thrive and offer many jobs over the coming years to many families across the region. TSM would like to thank all involved in making this new company come to life. From inception, through construction to completion, all involved from the local level to the state level have been so warm and helpful, confirming that Tennessee and Cumberland County was the right choice!”
“We welcome TSM to Tennessee and are pleased they’re establishing a metal fabrication facility in Cumberland County. While some states are driving away businesses with high taxes and heavy-handed regulations, we continue to see companies moving into Tennessee thanks to our friendly business climate, low taxes, and the best workforce in the nation. We wish TSM every success moving forward.”
“It is exciting to have TSM choose Crossville for their first out of state expansion. Tennessee’s business friendly climate is one of the best in the nation and this news re-enforces the hard work of the governor, the General Assembly and the local governments. We look forward to welcoming this family-owned business to our community.”
